Despite her status as a Hollywood star, Drew Barrymore is not one to waste food – especially if that food costs $500.

During The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday, September 16, the 49-year-old actress and media mogul welcomed Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as a guest. They duo played a game called "Is 50 Thrifty?" in which they tried to guess the prices of seemingly identical items. When confronted with two lollipops, the rapper, also 49, guessed that they were the same. Instead, Barrymore revealed that one treat was $10, and the other was $500!

50 Cent, who previously guest hosted the show in November 2022 when Barrymore was out sick with COVID-19, wondered who would ever eat the candy, which was made with "edible platinum flakes, vintage 2013 champagne, and cane sugar imported from Colombia" and created by a New York restaurant, Serendipity 3.

The 50 First Dates star broke the lollipop in half so that she and her guest could have a taste, but several pieces of the sucker were scattered on the floor in the process. 50 Cent seemed shocked that Barrymore was so bold in breaking the edible work of art and pointed out a chunk of the lollipop. "I feel like that right there was a hundred dollars," he said, apparently shocked that any "Candy Shop" could be so pricey.

Not willing to let anything go to waste, Barrymore ran to the edge of the stage to pick up a chunk of candy off the floor. "Here, I'll just eat it," she said before taking a bite of the sugary luxury. "I don't care. I eat off the floor. You can judge me all you want!"

Despite losing the lollipop round of their game, 50 Cent did have some wins, and Barrymore pointed out that he won two out of the four rounds. "Ironically, you got 50 (per)cent!" the host told her guest, winning some laughs from the audience.
