Kamala Harris' stepson Cole Emhoff looked as if he was having a blast as he celebrated his 30th birthday.

Cole Emhoff, who is the son of Harris' husband Doug Emhoff, reached the milestone earlier this month, and his mom Kerstin gave fans a little peek at the party in a post on Instagram.

The snap, which was uploaded to her grid, showed Cole Emhoff celebrating at a venue lit up with neon lights. He was wearing a dark shirt and a 30th birthday sash, clutching a cutout of his own face as he beamed at the camera.

"This is 30!" wrote Kerstin Emhoff. "Cole kicked off his third decade singing with Mom, Wife and friends. I can't believe my first born is 30! But what an amazing man he is, all of his parents are so proud of him."

"Love you baby," she ended the sweet message.

Kerstin Emhoff was married to Doug Emhoff from 1992 to 2008 and they share daughter Ella, 25, as well as Cole.

Emhoff married Harris in 2014, but he and his ex have remained on good terms.

This summer, Kerstin Emhoff was among those to speak out after an old video of Donald Trump's running mate JD Vance calling women, including Harris, "childless cat ladies" resurfaced.

She said in a statement to CNN: "These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I. She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present. I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it."

Ella also weighed in. "How can you be 'childless' when you have cutie pie kids like Cole and I," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I love my three parents," she added.

Harris has revealed before that she is known as "Momala" to Cole and Ella. She previously shared a photo of them posing together on Instagram, and wrote in the caption: "Grateful every day to be Momala to Ella and Cole."

In 2019, she wrote in a personal essay in Elle: "They are brilliant, talented, funny kids who have grown to be remarkable adults. I was already hooked on Doug, but I believe it was Cole and Ella who reeled me in."

When Cole Emhoff was married to partner Greenley Littlejohn last year, it was Harris who officiated at the ceremony.

Newsweek has reached out to representatives for the Emhoffs for comment.
