Rock and roll is no stranger to scandal, and Dave Grohl just hit a high note on the drama scale.
The 55-year-old Foo Fighters frontman's past has come crashing into the present, with ex-flame Kari Wuhrer spilling secrets about Grohl's alleged decades-old infidelities, timed impeccably with his latest fatherhood announcement.
In an interview with TMZ published Thursday, September 19, Wuhrer, 57, shared her lack of shock upon hearing her former beau's confession of fathering a child outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum — his wife of 21 years.
he model explained that while she doesn't know who the new mom is, she's heard "rumblings" about Grohl's alleged infidelity for quite some time. Recounting her own experiences with the former Nirvana drummer, Wuhrer alleged how their relationship started while the award-winning musician was still involved with another woman — professional snowboarder, Tina Basich.
It was only after a call to The Howard Stern Show that the truth unraveled, leading the professional snowboarder to end the two-year relationship. "I was letting the cat out of the bag," Wuhrer told the publication. Following her revealing chat with the radio host, the Anaconda actress and Grohl called it quits.
Years later, despite their kids playing under the same roof in a Los Angeles play place, Wuhrer claims Grohl treated her as if she were invisible. "He would just look at me like I didn't exist," she explained, adding, "I just felt like I knew he was a scumbag after that."
Meanwhile, the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" singer has taken to Instagram to address his present situation. "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness," he wrote on Tuesday, September 10.
Grohl and Blum, 48, tied the knot at their Los Angeles home in August 2003 and have three daughters together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
