Viola Davis shared a rare photo with daughter Genesis in honor of the teen's 14th birthday — and the EGOT winner's celeb pals can't believe just how grown up she looks.

"Me and my soon to be 14 yr old. Love her soooo much ❤️❤️❤️," Davis, 58, captioned the sweet picture of her and Genesis, which she shared via instagram on Saturday, July 6. The Scandal alum and her daughter stood side by side in the kitchen, their arms wrapped around each other as they grinned for the camera. The mother-daughter duo, who are nearly the same height, were both dressed in casual attire: Davis in jeans and a black zip-up hoodie; Genesis in a black cami and khaki-colored cargo pants. The actress rocked a head wrap while the teen wore her dark hair, punctuated with red highlights, in two cascading pigtails.

Davis' famous friends immediately flocked to the comments section of the post to share love for the pair — as well as their awe.

"She's as tall as you. 😍😍😍😍," Octavia Spencer gushed over Genesis' height.

"Wow! Look at the BabyGirl all growed up!" Vanessa Williams chimed in.

"Wow!!! But…she was JUST little!!" Tracie Thoms said.

Loni Love was also couldn't get over Genesis' height. "She so big now!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰 #auntieloni," the comedian commented.

Alicia Keys, for her part, didn't even need words to express her feelings about Davis and her daughter, letting multiple flame emojis do the talking instead.

"🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," the Grammy winner wrote.

Broadway legend Donna Murphy reminisced about Genesis' arrival into Davis' life. "BEAUTIES ! I remember your excitement when Genesis was on her way! All blessings to her & your precious family Viola! 💖💖💞🎂🙌🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨😍," she penned.

Davis and husband Julius Tennon adopted Genesis in 2011, eight years after they tied the knot. Upon her adoption, Genesis joined older siblings Sheavonda and Duriel, who Tennon shares with his first wife, Sheryl Arnold, to complete the family.

Earlier this year, the Woman King actress revealed her advice to the teen in an interview with People.

"What I tell my daughter right now is, 'Genesis, you are the love of your life,'" Davis explained. "'You have to start right now to have a radical love affair with yourself, to be in touch with your inner voice, what you like, what you don't like, what's crossing the boundaries, and you honor that. And through that, that is the seed where everything grows.'"
