Allison Statter, best friend of reality star Kim Kardashian, has nothing but good things to say about pop star Taylor Swift.

During her Tuesday, July 9 appearance on the 9 to 5ish with theSkimm podcast, Statter spoke highly of Swift's talents and values – Despite Kardashian's well-documented tensions with the "Fortnight" singer over the years.

Describing the 14-time Grammy winner as "probably one of, if not, the greatest songwriter of our generation," Statter continued, "Her music is so fantastic to me. Her morals and the things that she represents as it relates to women empowerment and friendship and things like that are very difficult for me." Kardashian's BFF also shared that she often turns to Swift's music for an energy boost. She explained, "I kind of bounce around the female pop world."

Interestingly, the SKYNN founder's fallout with Swift – which dates all the way back to 2016 – hasn't affected her bestie's opinion of the singer. Kardashian, 43, initially publicly released a recording of a phone call between Swift and her ex-husband, Kanye West, about his song "Famous" which inappropriately mentioned the songstress. This led to public backlash against Swift, and the tension has continued to simmer over the years.

Recently, Swift seemingly reignited the feud by releasing a Kardashian diss track titled "thanK u aIMee" (off her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department) which appeared to nod to their ongoing rivalry. During a recent Eras Tour show, Swift performed the song for the first time since its release, combining it with "Mean." When the 34-year-old sang the line, "Everyone knows my mother is a saintly woman, but she used to say she wished that you were dead," attention turned to her mother, Andrea, who was in the VIP tent waving her arms enthusiastically as the crowd cheered.

As for Statter, she's still got Kardashian's back. She also took the opportunity to commend her pal, emphasizing their strong bond. "She's just a fiercely loyal and trustworthy friend," Statter said, admitting, "I'm very lucky for her." Statter has been a fixture in Kardashian's life since their childhood.
