Michael Douglas received some familiar support at his recent documentary screening in New York City.
On Wednesday, July 10, the 79-year-old made a rare red carpet appearance in the Big Apple with his daughter Carys, 21, and son Dylan, 23, by his side. The event was for a screening of his new documentary, America's Burning, which is set to premiere this month.
The family posed together at the DGA Theater, with Carys and Dylan dressed in coordinating white outfits. Douglas complemented his children's look with a blue shirt and navy blue suit jacket. The actor shares Carys and Dylan with his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. He is also father to a son named Cameron, 45, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker.
Also on Wednesday, Douglas appeared on an episode of The View, stunning the ladies with a rather candid revelation about his competitive golfing matches with Zeta-Jones. When cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin asked, "What does she make you do when you lose to her?" The Ant Man alum replied with a smile, "Whip it out. She says, 'You've gotta whip it out.' Drop the trou and whip it out." The comment left Griffin clapping and laughing, while Sara Haines covered her mouth in shock.
Just three before on Monday, July 8, Zeta-Jones posted a photo with her husband while they celebrated British Day on her Instagram. "What a Great British Day! Couldn't write that script, the fans went wild yesterday at Silverstone!! Me being one of them!" the Wednesday actress captioned the photo. The picture, which was part of a slideshow, showed her and Douglas, his head resting on hers, while they posed for the camera.
It's safe to say people loved seeing this affection and let it show in the comments, like comedian Chelsea Handler, who wrote, "Cute couple." Another fan commented on Douglas's appearance, noting, "@michaelkirkdouglas u look younger everytime I see you @catherinezetajones you must be doing something right 😄 love seeing ur posts so happy xx.
