Gisele Bündchen pulled out all the stops on her recent family vacation to Brazil. The supermodel celebrated her 44th birthday last week surrounded by loved ones in her home country, and it seems the celebration has continued.

In a recent Instagram post shared on Sunday, July 28, the supermodel shared some highlights from their visit to the Lençóis Maranhenses national park. Although Bündchen did not name which of her family members joined her in the stunning sand dunes and lagoons, her daughter Vivian appears to be by her side along with other friends and family.

From horseback riding to swimming to riding ATVs, it seems like the group took advantage of the many activities available in this natural paradise. In her Instagram caption, Gisele didn't hesitate to share her great love and pride for her homeland – in both Portuguese and English.

"Sempre sonhei em visitar os Lençóis. Que lindo que é o nosso Brasil!❤️ I've always dreamed of visiting Lençóis Maranhenses. Brazil is so beautiful!"

It's been a difficult few years since Bündchen divorced from football star Tom Brady, with whom she shares children Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11. Brady, 46, also has a 16-year-old son named Jack from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Despite the split, the former Victoria's Secret angel appears to be living her life to the fullest in Brazil. The first photo in her Instagram post features a dramatic shot of Bündchen in a swimsuit, sunning herself by one of the lagoons. She included a photo of herself with her arm wrapped around one of her family members, as well as a group of the children running down to splash in the crystal clear water. The group had the opportunity to see the 43 miles of coastline and rolling sand dunes from above, and Bündchen shared helicopter footage of the jaw-dropping views.

Despite her status as a global household name, the superstar has never forgotten her roots. Much of Bündchen's philanthropy and activism has been dedicated to protecting both the people and the environment of Brazil. Her Instagram bio currently links to a donation page for a joint fund created by The Brazil Foundation and her own organization, the Luz Alliance. The fund helps to provide hygiene kits, food and financial assistance to families in Brazil. The photos and videos from Bündchen's Lençós Maranhenses trip illustrate her excitement about sharing Brazil's unique beauty with the world–not to mention the beauty of her beloved family.
