Singer Pink's daughter recently left her mom's summer tour to pursue a different passion of hers – theater.
Pink – who's real name is Alecia Beth Moore – and husband Carey Hart's 13-year-old daughter Willow took a break from her mom's Summer Carnival tour to perform in her school musical Bye, Bye Birdie. Carey shared his pride on Instagram, posting photos of Willow in costume and expressing his admiration.
"I'm beyond proud of my lil girl, Willow. She just wrapped up her 4-night theater production of Bye Bye Birdie, and she killed it," Carey wrote alongside the photo, which was posted on Sunday, July 28. He praised her commitment and growth, saying, "To watch her progress over the last 5 years has been very special to watch. Can't wait to see you on that Broadway stage. With how hard you work, your talent, and commitment to theater, there is no doubt you will be there." Carey, 49, also gave a nod to his wife for supporting Willow's goals, saying, "Great work mama in helping Willz achieve her goals."
Fans of the 44-year-old singer shared their comments on the photo, leaving their words of encouragement for the teen. "Well done Willow and I'm sure you'll be taking Broadway by storm in no time at all 🥰," said one fan, while another commented, "Oh if ANY CHILD will be made for the stage, it's a child of P!nk's! Good job Willow! "
A third fan praised the couple for their hard work raising Willow. "This is fantastic!! I can't get over how grown up she is! Thanks for sharing her wonderful talents with us. You two have done a phenomenal job raising your children," the user said.
Willow's growing experience in the performing arts is already rather impressive. She's already performed alongside Pink on tour and even did an aerial act with her mom at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
