Jon Stewart mocked Joe Biden for his performance during the first presidential debate on Friday, joking that it made Democrats want to "jump out of windows."

During Monday night's episode of The Daily Show, the comedian began by making fun of the expert advice that media outlets offered to Donald Trump and Biden this week.

For Trump, that included not offending "suburban moms" and portraying "normalness," for Biden it was "remain upright" and don't have "a senior moment."

Stewart suggested that the President had not been "on top of his game" during the debate, cutting to a clip of the 81-year-old discussing the COVID-19 pandemic and Trump-era tax cuts, including the viral line "we finally beat Medicare."

"Ok, a high-pressure situation," Stewart said. "A lot of times, you can confuse saving Medicare with beating it.

"I'm sure it's not something that repeated throughout the debate, causing Democrats across the country to either jump out of windows or vomit silently into the nearest recycle bin."

After joking that "anybody can f*** up talking," the 61-year-old asked "How did Biden do not talking?"

Stewart then cut to a montage of Biden responding to Trump's answers, before showing side-by-side freeze frames of the Democrat's facial expressions.

"Not great, but uh, a lot of people have resting 25th amendment face," Stewart said.

However, the Emmy winner didn't hold back on Trump. After showing a montage of the 77-year-old attacking Biden, Stewart joked Trump had not "passed the a****** test."

"What you got on substance?" he asked, before cutting to footage of Trump listing what he considers to be his achievements during his time as president.

The Republican said that America had "the greatest economy in the history of our country" and "no wars" during his term, as well as took responsibility for "getting us out of that COVID mess."

Trump also claimed that he "never had sex with a porn star," referencing rumors that he and adult film actress Stormy Daniels had an affair in 2006.

Pretending to be stunned, Stewart said: "Just so we're all clear, everything that Donald Trump said in that clip is a lie."

Newsweek has reached to Donald Trump for comment via email and Joe Biden via contact form.

Stewart returned to The Daily Show in February after a nine-year hiatus to cover the run up to general election in November. However, some viewers have accused the host of being a "bothsidest fraud," after mocking both Trump and Biden's campaign efforts.
