Travis Kelce is feeling the love from an unexpected quarter: the passionate fans of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. On Sunday, July 28, as the Chiefs geared up for the 2024-2025 NFL season at their training camp, the 34-year-old tight end witnessed an outpouring of support not just from die-hard Chiefs fans but also from devoted Swifties.

The event, part of an autograph day at Missouri Western State University, saw groups of Swift fans come to cheer on Kelce. Among them was Terah Lee, a fan who specializes in making Taylor Swift-themed T-shirts. She arrived sporting one that said, "Go Taylor's boyfriend!" The Swiftie also rocked a pair of sunglasses adorned with "So High School" friendship bracelet charms — a nod to a song from the 34-year-old pop sensation's album, which fans speculate references her beau.

"I'm obsessed with football obviously, and I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift," Lee shared with People. "I think it's really cool [that fans are showing up]. It's two fandoms that I don't think anyone would've ever expected to converge together."

Another fan, Rebecca Jones, donned a Chiefs jersey with "Traylor" on the back, symbolizing the union of Travis and Taylor. Speaking with the outlet, she said the lovebird's relationship has "been a positive thing for everyone to look at" and that she's hopeful it "continues to blossom."

Among the younger fans, 16-year-old Hannah Calhoun and her parents traveled all the way from Lexington, Kentucky just to be there. Clutching onto her friendship bracelets and in high spirits, Hannah held up a sign to Kelce inviting him to "write your name". The whole scene perfectly summed up the feel-good atmosphere of the day. "I love Taylor and I think she's a great role model and so I love that my daughter has her to look up to and so we thought, 'Let's do this, Let's go out and see Travis Kelce,'" Hannah's mom Alison told the publication.

Beyond the waves of Swifties, lifelong Chiefs fans have felt the new energy the Grammy winner has brought to the game. Kelli Anderson, a born-and-bred local and Kelce fan from the start, said she thinks "it's really cool that he's bringing so much attention to Kansas City and I just love the two of them together and enjoy watching their love story unfold." The sports enthusiasts went on to say, "It's cool that the rest of the world is starting to appreciate the Chiefs."
