Christina Hall had quite the response to ex-husband Josh Hall's recent Instagram post, which seemingly had nothing to do with the HGTV star.
On Thursday, August 1, Christina shared Josh's photo of a "hope" sculpture, adding her own comment, "I 'HOPE' she pays me millions more than what she's already offered me," complete with praying hands and money emojis, suggesting ongoing financial disputes in their divorce proceedings.
Josh's original post, according to a source that spoke to PEOPLE, was unrelated to their divorce. He took the photo at City of Hope, a cancer treatment center, where he was visiting a terminally ill friend who is a police officer. The blue heart in his post symbolized his friend's profession, and the source insisted it was not aimed at his ex-wife.
Christina, 41, had previously accused Josh of redirecting $35,000 from her Tennessee rental properties into his personal account the day after she requested a divorce. Legal documents included screenshots of their text exchanges regarding the transfer.
In late July, Christina publicly addressed Josh's financial demands on Instagram, expressing frustration over his actions. "I have worked my a-- off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed," she wrote, also describing Josh as "an insecure man with a large ego."
Christina has been a mainstay on HGTV since her debut on Flip or Flop with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, in 2013. She later headlined Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country, and launched several home decor lines. Christina's previous marriages include Tarek, with whom she shares two children, Taylor and Brayden, and British TV host Ant Anstead, with whom she has a son, Hudson.
