Police have released photos of the three male suspects in General Hospital star Johnny Wactor's shooting death.

Wactor, 37, was shot in downtown Los Angeles around 3:25 a.m. on June 25 while he was walking back to his car after a shift as a bartender. He happened upon three men who had lifted his 2018 Infiniti Q50 with a floor jack and were attempting to take his catalytic converter. The actor was shot in the chest "without provocation" after he confronted the men and the suspects fled the scene in his stolen car.

The actor was transported to the hospital where he died.

Photos released by police Sunday show the three suspects standing around Wactor's car with the doors open. Two of the men are wearing light-colored sweatshirts and the third is wearing a black hoodie. Another photo shows the car with its lights on, presumably leaving the area.

The only physical description of the suspects provided by police was that "Suspect 1 has a tattoo above the left eye and on the right cheek."

Anyone with information on the suspects in Wactor's death should contact the Central Bureau Homicide Detective #37636 at (213) 996-4143 and Detective Bobadilla at (213) 996-4173. Public members can also leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Who was Johnny Wactor?

Wactor played Brando Corbin in the long-running ABC soap General Hospital starring in over 160 episodes between 2020 and 2022. He also appeared in sci-fi series The OA and Westworld, Criminal Minds, and NCIS.

Following his death, Wactor's ex-fiancée Tessa Farrell spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her grief over his death, revealing that she still wears her engagement ring. The former couple began dating in 2013 when they were both new to Hollywood. They split in the late 2010s but remained on good terms.

Farrell received backlash for the interview on social media, then asked people on social media to "stop being so mean to each other."

"So many lives are being lost," the Barbee Rehab actress said, also urging for stricter California crime laws. "We need some legislation to prevent this from happening. These criminals can't keep being on the street and they can't keep being sent back and have no repercussions for their actions."

Speaking directly to Wactor's killers on social media, Farrell said, "I'm sorry, but you shot the wrong guy. You know, you can get a real job. Like, I know the job market is hard, but we're all in it together. You don't have to steal. Especially take a life over it. Human life is disregarded too easily."
