Simone Biles has shared some cheeky words about her husband Jonathan Owens after he flew out of France, where he had been supporting her at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Olympian's spouse was needed back in the U.S. for training with the Chicago Bears ahead of the start of the NFL season next month.

The 29-year-old had been on the sidelines as Biles, 27, scooped three gold medals in the team, individual all-around and vault.

However, Owens was seen back in his jersey signing autographs for fans in an upload shared with his 623,000 Instagram followers on Monday.

"Back at it," he simply captioned it, but it wasn't long before his wife appeared in the comments section.

"Something about a man in uniform," she quipped on the post, which quickly garnered attention while the update had more than 16,000 likes.

Fan @ijair.p wrote underneath: "Why u up right now girl?"(sic) as @amberlu84 said: "Good luck today!"

Biles was certainly on Owens' mind as he shared a video on the picture-sharing app of her taking part in one of her events as he watched on TV.

In the clip he could be heard saying, "Let's go," and added several clapping emoji.

He was previously granted special leave from preseason training to join Biles in the French capital, where he regularly updated social media with posts about the record-breaking gymnast.

Two days ago he wrote: "Greatness. I love you so much baby. You accomplish whatever you set your mind to, and do it with so much grace.

"9 time Olympic medalist and counting!!!! So proud to be your husband."

Biles missed out on a medal in the balance beam, which saw her fall mid-routine, but scooped silver on the floor.

The former saw her finish in fifth place with Italy's Alice D'Amato triumphing, winning the country's first ever gold medal in artistic gymnastics.

Her win on the vault on Sunday brought her tally to seven, while an eighth would have tied her for the record for most Olympic gold medals by any female athlete in any sport. She has 11 Olympic medals in total.

But Biles is already the most decorated gymnast in World Championships history, with 30 to her name—23 gold, four silver and three bronze.
