HGTV star Christina Hall enjoyed some time away with the girls amid her breakup from Josh Hall. She shared photos with her getaway buddies Stacy Evatt and Robyn Purpero on her Instagram on Saturday, August 3, captioning the photo, "Much needed girls trip. 41 is SO good". This post comes about two weeks after she and her estranged husband filed for divorce after over two years of marriage.
Although the Flip or Flop alum did not reveal her travel destination, she shared a picture of a large Southern-style home, captioning it, "How dreamy is this," along with a video of rain and lightning over an idyllic waterfront, writing, "Southern storms."
While Hall was on her vacation, 41-year-old Josh also took to Instagram to share his feelings alongside a somber photo resting his head on his 9-year-old dog, Stella, stating "I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever."
He even goes further to say, "We are real humans, this is our life, and I am not here to entertain people I don't know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are."
According to an article in US Weekly, the couple both filed for divorce last month. Christina filed to dissolve their marriage first, listing the date of separation as July 7, while Josh's court documents mark the split date as July 8.
In the same article, a trusted source shared, "Christina and Joshua haven't even started negotiations regarding their divorce," and "Per Josh's court docs, he wants to divide assets 50/50, which includes their Newport Beach home and rights to Christina's HGTV series."
