Actress Amanda Bynes showed off a new and dramatic look on Tuesday, August 7 as she took a walk on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Amanda Showstar, 38, stepped out sporting her straight black hair with her bangs pulled back. She wore an oversized grey T-shirt paired with khaki shorts, black and white Vans, and a floral crossbody purse.

Bynes appeared to have covered her face tattoos with makeup and, according to an article in DailyMail.UK, since last seen added another large tattoo to her leg. The former TV star also had long nail extensions that sparkled as she strolled.

Her latest outing comes after she announced in an Instagram story in March that she is "going to start wearing wigs now."

Shortly after this, Bynes shared with her social fans and followers that she was returning to manicurist school after failing to receive her license during her last attempt.

Additionally, she posted, "Since I haven't passed the board exam yet to get my manicurist license, I started back at school to study manicurist theory to practice doing acrylics before I take the test again, so I'll be good to go when I get a job at a nail salon."

Despite feeling insecure, Bynes explained, according to DailyMail, "I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to. After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job. I'm going to follow that path instead."
