Dancing With The Stars professional Peta Murgatroyd has spoken out about a possible return to the long-running show, just one month after welcoming her third child.

The performer addressed whether she'll be back for season 33 when it kicks off next month during a Q&A with her 1.1 million Instagram followers on Sunday.

The 38-year-old, who has won the competition twice, said that despite it "sounding crazy" she'd "love" to be asked back.

DWTS is expected to announce it's pro lineup in the coming weeks ahead of the premiere on September 17, after ABC and Disney's May 15 confirmation the program would be coming back.

Hosts Alfonso Ribiero and Julianne Hough will be returning alongside judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, but the selection of the dancers remains up in the air.

When asked by a fan if she'd be a part of the lineup, mother-of three Murgatroyd said in a video upload: "I would totally love to come back again, I know that sounds crazy, if they would have me.

"We just never know until the last minute, you guys know that it is the same every season. But, yeah it's my home, it's what I know and love and do best."

"So why not?" she continued. "It would be my third time coming back after a baby, which is insane. This would be the shortest amount of time that I would have, because I think training starts end of August.

"It would be very, very cool and would be good for me to get out and do this again. I would love to be dancing again. We'll see though."

Murgatroyd and her husband, ex fellow DWTS regular Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 44, revealed they'd become parents again last month, following a "47-second" delivery.

The couple, who wed back in 2017, announced they'd named their youngest son Milan a day later, saying: "The fam is complete."(sic)

The pair are also parents to Shai Aleksander, seven, and one-year-old Rio John.

During the online chat, Murgatroyd said the pair are discussing adoption when she was asked if the pair were going to try for a daughter.

She replied: "You guys know I want a girl, but, guys, I cannot fathom doing this again. Like, I don't mean that in a horrible way.

"I literally got pregnant three months after giving birth—the first time I could get pregnant I got pregnant. So my body is like, 'F you'."

Murgatroyd then said: "I did bring this [adoption] up to Maks not too long ago... we spoke about a Ukrainian girl.

"I'm not saying this is going to happen, I'm saying we started the conversation. That would be really special and would change a life, and I think it's an option. We just need to feel out how three kids feels first. But having a full house feels right."
