Mel B has uploaded a video to Instagram detailing the moment she suffered from a wardrobe malfunction just moments before going on TV.

The singer, songwriter and television personality, born Melanie Janine Brown, rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the pop group the Spice Girls, in which she was given the moniker Scary Spice.

"This things always just happen before you walking on tv 😂 the best team fixing me up like that we couldnt stop laughinggg [sic]," the singer captioned the clip. In the video, a woman can be seen sewing the front of Mel B's leopard print jumpsuit, while another is standing by with extra thread.

Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Mel B for comment on Tuesday.

"Stitching the boobs in because this is—decided to fall apart," Mel B said as she held herself in place so they wouldn't fall out of her outfit. "Describe this. I've got Patience just looking with a bit of string," she continued, as someone behind the camera added: "Scarlet with the boobs."

"I've got Scarlet in my boobs with a needle. I've got Rita filming, me holding my boobs up, there's some fresh cream and food over there. Guess what happened next?" Mel B said, as she laughed.

When the sewing was completed, the star said: "Thank you," inspecting the needlework and whether she was secure.

She added: "Thank you, Scarlet, thank you Patience. And now I'm going to go to the loo—kidding!"

While she didn't say what show she was appearing on, Mel B was snapped by a photographer wearing this jumpsuit when she was leaving the Tamron Hall Show on March 26.

The video was posted to Mel B's Instagram account amid reports that fellow former Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell has pulled out of a reunion tour. Numerous publications have reported that the group—which also formerly included Victoria Beckham, Melanie C and Emma Bunton—was talking about returning to the road following the popularity of their earlier performances.

In a previous interview with Hall, Mel B was speaking about the reunion tour, and she said she was determined to "make it happen."

This attempt to get the band back together would be the first time the group has performed with all five members since the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

The quintet made their debut in 1994 and went on to experience stratospheric fame with hits such as "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life." Their icon status was cemented in 1997 thanks to the commercially successful film Spice World, which led to a tour of Europe and the U.S.
