Post Malone is just days away from dropping his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion. The album features Malone, 29, taking on a country sound, and contains collaborations with some of the biggest names in country music — including Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and the queen herself, Dolly Parton. While Malone has some friends in high places, he doesn't consider himself on par with their level of fame.

Earlier this year, he collaborated with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift and their respective albums, Cowboy Carter and The Tortured Poets Department. In an interview with New York Times, Malone expressed gratitude for his career, the many accolades he's earned, and the songs that have manifested from his collaborations. However, he revealed he feels that reaching the same caliber of fame as some of his collaborators would be daunting.

"I can't even imagine being at their level — it must suck," said Malone.

Malone specifically recalled filming the video for "Fortnight," from Swift's The Tortured Poets Department, and how Swift was forced to remain clandestine on set.

According to Malone, Swift required "an umbrella and drapes over the golf cart so drones and a helicopter couldn't get footage."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Malone noted that he hadn't met Beyoncé — his duet partner on Cowboy Carter track "Levii's Jeans" — in person yet. He said someone from Bey's team had brought him portions of the track in person in order to avoid leaks.

Though Malone doesn't desire such a level of notoriety, he still has admiration for his musical collaborators, and feels "just honored to be in these people's vicinity."

To his credit, Malone has six Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits, including his 2018 Swae Lee collaboration, "Sunflower" from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — which was the first ever song to receive a double diamond certification from the RIAA.

F-1 Trillion arrives to digital music platforms on Friday, August 16.
