Joe Rogan has revealed how impressed he was with Kamala Harris' rally in Atlanta—and he thinks Donald Trump now has a problem.

As Harris's expected showdown with Trump—the GOP nominee—dominates the news cycle, on July 30, she rallied thousands of supporters during her first campaign stop in Atlanta, Georgia, since launching her bid for the presidency.

During her speech, the vice president threw a jab at Trump over reports he was backing out of his agreement to participate in the September 10 presidential debate. "Well, Donald, I do hope you'll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage. Because as the saying goes, if you got something to say, say it to my face," she said, with a clip of this quickly going viral.

While Rogan previously praised independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., during the August 14 episode of his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience with stand-up comedian Adam Ray, he said he was impressed by Harris's rally and shared his concern for Trump.

Newsweek emailed spokespeople for Harris and Trump for comment on Thursday.

The X account (formerly Twitter) belonging to Republicans against Trump shared a snippet from the episode with the caption: "Joe Rogan says Kamala Harris 'crushed it' with her Atlanta speech: 'What she did was like a pro. She did that like a pro. That's where it gets dangerous...She f****** nailed it.'" At the time of writing, the post had been viewed 1.7 million times.

What Joe Rogan Said

At the beginning of the clip, Rogan said Harris "crushed it" before adding: "That's a problem. That's a problem. And I don't think they thought she was going to be able to do that, that's the thing. You can f***** coach somebody bro, it ain't hard, and maybe she just practiced."

"Who are these coaches, just public speakers and stuff?" Ray asked, to which Rogan responded: "Oh yeah, public speaking coaches yeah there's political speech analysts."

Ray then suggested that politicians should hire comedians to write them a couple of "zingers" that they can keep in their back pocket.

He continued: "If that's not your world and your brain doesn't operate like that—Trump's does, Trump is looking at like, you know, to make a little put-down or, or, he's just, just quick in that way."

While Rogan agreed Trump was "quick in that way," he said it would be a great idea for Trump to hire a few great comics to tour with him.

"I mean if he could remember them. I mean I know he likes to go off his own head, but if he could remember a few [Tony] Hinchcliffe bangers—if he hires Hinchcliffe to take him on the road, do you know how f****** insane that would be?" the podcast host said.

Rogan later added: "The thing you're getting from him is, you know no one is coaching him, right? You know he's going off the cuff you know he—nobody gets to tell him what to do. When he goes out there and he talks about things it's like, he's just off the cuff—off the cuff—and that's why it gets sideways sometimes, you know? It gets a little fumbly sometimes.

"But what I'm saying is that what she did was like a pro, she did that like a pro. That's where it gets dangerous ... she f****** nailed it."

"The problem is, that's what we're looking for," Rogan continued. "It's not even necessarily who has the best policies for the country, it's not necessarily who's going to make real reform, who's really going to change things and make it better for everybody, versus who looks like the kind of person who should be president, who's talking like a leader."

Rogan and the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election

On August 9, Trump responded on social media to Rogan's praise of Kennedy amid this year's presidential election.

In a post to his Truth Social account, the former president suggested that the UFC color commentator would be "booed" at the next fight he attends. Rogan spoke highly of Kennedy's campaign during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience released on August 8, saying that the independent candidate was "the only [candidate] that makes sense."

"It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring???" Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding, "MAGA2024."

Rogan's support of Kennedy has been welcomed by supporters of Harris, as many highlighted Rogan's massive platform and said his backing of Kennedy could benefit the Democrat rather than Trump.

Rogan has had a mixed approach to politics and previously endorsed politicians from both major parties, and other candidates.

He said he did not vote for either Trump or President Joe Biden in the 2020 race but endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders' campaign during the 2020 Democratic primary.

In 2022, Rogan said Ron DeSantis would make a "good" president before the Florida Governor dropped out of the GOP race.

Rogan voiced his admiration for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson in the 2016 presidential race.
