Gwen Stefani's kids are growing up!
The singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug 21, to post the sweetest tribute to her son Zuma for his 16th birthday.
The 54-year-old posted a reel set to the song "Old Enough to Know Better" by country singer Wade Hayes, perhaps a nod to her son's apparent love of country music.
The reel featured dozens of adorable and goofy photos of Zuma from infancy to teenagehood. He is seen posing with his country superstar stepdad Blake Shelton and Stefani in a few snaps as well.
The Voice alum also included clips of Zuma playing an acoustic guitar seemingly following in the footsteps of his musical family!
Back in July, Zuma performed at Shelton's Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. At the time, Shelton came onstage to introduce Zuma who played "Revival" and "Oklahoma Smokeshow," two songs by fellow Oklahoma resident, Zach Bryan.
The superstar captioned the reel,"happy Sweet 16, Zuma !! we love u SO much !!"
Fans were quick to flood the comment section, sharing messages of positivity and drawing comparisons to how much he looks like his stepdad.
"Aweee happy birthday you'd think that was Blake's son, he sure is taking after him," one fan noted.
"Happy birthday he's so cute lil country boy!! He looks like he could be Blake's son with his country vibe," another person commented.
Stefani shares her three sons Kingston 18, Zuma 16, and Apollo, 10, with ex-husband and British musician Gavin Rossdale, who she was married to from 2002–2016.
Stefani began her love story with Shelton while filming NBC's The Voice. Shelton was one of the original coaches while Stefani joined in 2014. The pair married on July 4, 2021, at Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma with Stefani's sons present.
In July, the megastar posted an Instagram carousel with photos of her and Shelton as a tribute to the duo's third Wedding Anniversary. The caption read "July 3, 2021 ♥️ it has always been you 🥰."
