Taylor Swift seems to be showing love to all her besties — except Blake Lively — and fans have started to take notice.

Swift's recent promotions of her friends' projects on her Instagram stories has raised some eyebrows. In recent weeks, the pop star has publicly supported her friend (and Lively's husband) Ryan Reynolds by promoting his new film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Then, on Friday, August 23, she took to her Story once more to endorse pal Sabrina Carpenter's new album and the release of the movie Blink Twice, conceptualized by Zoe Kravitz, but has remained silent on Lively's new film, It Ends With Us.

Fans have noticed the discrepancy and have begun calling out Swift, 34, on X (formerly known as Twitter), asking why she hasn't addressed Lively's film. "taylor literally promoting deadpool and wolverine then blink twice but not it ends with us is so funny to me," one fan posted. Another chimed in, "taylor promoting deadpool, blink twice, and sabrina carpenter but not it ends with us 😭😭."

This could, of course, be because of the drama surrounding the 36-year-old and the way she's handled promotions and interviews about the film. Tensions between the Simple Favor actress and her co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, have been rumored since the movie's production.

Lively recently hinted at creative disagreements during an August 10 interview, adding to ongoing rumors of tension with Baldoni, 40. Fans have also observed that the two have avoided joint interviews and rarely pose together at events, with Lively instead promoting the movie solo or alongside co-star Jenny Slate.

The Gossip Girl alum also faced backlash for her promotional approach, with one interview encouraging fans to "grab your friends, wear your florals," which many found insensitive given the film's domestic violence theme. Additionally, two resurfaced interviews have sparked criticism: a 2016 exchange where she made a sarcastic remark to a reporter about her "bump" (the journalist was not pregnant) and a 2014 interview where she made dismissive comments about pregnancy cravings during her first pregnancy.

Lively has yet to comment on her responses in either interview.
