Reneé Rapp has spoken out after her performance at the Reading and Leeds Festival was cut short.

The Mean Girls actress experienced technical difficulties in Reading, England, due to Storm Lilian on Sunday, when rain water that appeared to have accumulated on top of the stage spilled all over her band and their equipment.

"girl what the f*** was that," the 24-year-old wrote via Instagram on Sunday.

In a video posted to X, formerly Twitter, the 24-year-old spoke to the crowd while trying to figure out how to navigate the situation.

"Not today, not today. Alright," she said in a clip shared by X user @ifitriedtoleave after water fell onto the stage. "How are you guys? I personally feel amazing. All of our equipment is definitely in good condition."

"Guys, I need to pull somebody to the side for a quick chat. I need to put somebody to the side for a quick chat. I need to have a quick chat. I need a chat about this. This is f***ing ridiculous," the U.S. pop star added, while speaking with a British accent.

In a viral video shared to TikTok, user @producerjacob said: "I've never seen a gig go so wrong 🥺 Reneé Rapp had to stop her #readingfestival set three times. her crew had such bad luck #randl24 #reneerapp #behindthescenes #rainyrapp."

In the comments, fans expressed their heartbreak for both Rapp and the technicians.

"I feel for the sound and stage tech guys honestly they work so damn hard and the performers safety is their main concern this is heartbreaking," @roxiedmusic wrote.

"Didn't even get to say bye to her didn't hear tummy hurts pretty girls or snow angel riff🥺 but poor girl has gone through enough in the uk this week," @live_laugh_not_love said. Rapp had already pulled out of the Leeds show due to safety concerns.

"i feel so bad for her, surly they should have checked the rain on the roof for safety," @sillyblonderenee added.

Newsweek reached out to Reading and Leeds Festival via email for comment.

The Reading & Leeds Festival praised the "Not My Fault" singer via Instagram following the issues she experienced.

"We would like to thank Reneé Rapp for her perseverance and professionalism amidst the technical difficulties we have had to continue to deal with from Storm Lilian," they wrote in a message shared to their Instagram Stories. "We know many of you travelled to see her and are really sorry you did not get the show you deserve. We are desperately hoping, like you, that she will come back to R&L in the future."

The news came after Lana Del Rey's Reading and Leeds Festival performance was also cut short on Saturday when her microphone was turned off.

"Due to an error by the Reading production team we accidentally cut Lana Del Rey's incredible set short by 5 mins," the Reading and Leeds Festival's official Instagram account posted to their Stories. "We apologise unreservedly to Lana and her fans."
