Princess Kate's "elegance" and style has been praised online as the royal continues her time away from public engagements following a cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.

Kate made a rare public appearance in Scotland on Sunday as she was photographed with Prince William driving to church on the Balmoral Castle estate, where the couple are staying with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Since his accession to the throne, Charles has continued the annual tradition of inviting extended members of the royal family to Balmoral for the national holiday weekend at the end of August.

Kate canceled her schedule of royal engagements in January as she underwent a planned abdominal surgery, going on to announce her cancer diagnosis in March. In June the princess made her first appearance at an official event to attend the Trooping the Colour ceremony and a month later attended the Wimbledon men's tennis final.

In a health update given in June, the royal said she hoped to begin working from home and making more appearances over the summer while continuing to receive chemotherapy treatment.

In the absence of regular new appearances from Kate, fans have taken to social media to share highlights from past events and favorite moments.

Uploaded to TikTok by user, luguape4, on August 20, a compilation of clips depicting Kate at several high-profile events and ceremonies has been viewed over 100,000 times on the platform, so far.

Several of the clips used show Kate attending the royal Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle, which she has been present at over a number of years, though notably not this year amid her cancer treatment.

The princess has worn a succession of classic coat dresses for the occasion, typically crafted by the fashion house of Catherine Walker & Co., which was a favorite of the late Princess Diana.

Over a number of years, the Wales family have coordinated their outfits with the key color, blue. Prince William, Prince George and Prince Louis have worn blue ties in varying shades, while Princess Charlotte and Kate have worn blue themed dresses.

Also included in the viral post is footage of Kate as she appeared during a formal solo visit to Denmark in 2022. The royal made the journey to the country in connection with her work with early years childhood development and during her brief stay met with the then Crown Princess Mary (now Queen Mary) and her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe II.

For this meeting, Kate debuted another classic Catherine Walker & Co. menswear-inspired coat dress.

Two major eveningwear events have also been included in the post, the first being Kate's red carpet appearance at the Top Gun: Maverick London premiere in 2022, to which she wore a striking black and white Roland Mouret figure-hugging gown. And the second for an evening reception during the princess' tour of the Caribbean in the same year.

For a reception in Jamaica, Kate wore a fairy-tale ballgown in green tulle with crystal embellishments designed by Jenny Packham.

Captioned "Elegance by Kate Middleton," the TikTok video has received in excess of 6,500 likes and over 200 comments, many of which have praised Kate and her celebrated style.

"This is what a 'class act' looks like," posted one viewer.

"Nobody can outshine her she is the best ever," posted another, with a further comment reading: "Kate is amazin."
