Taylor Swift may not have made an official political endorsement as of yet, but her fans sure have!

Swifties for Kamala — founded by 22-year-old Emerald Medrano just after President Biden's withdrawal from the race — held its inaugural kickoff call via Zoom on Tuesday, August 27, and quickly raised over $144,000 for the Harris-Walz campaign.

Over 34,000 Swifties gathered for the Zoom call, which featured appearances by U.S. Senator of Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Senator of New York Kirsten Gillibrand, U.S. Senator of Massachusetts Ed Markey, and a surprise performance by Rock Hall of Fame inductee Carole King.

"Wow, did we have a marvelous time!" the Swifties for Kamala website posted after the call, seemingly referencing lyrics from Swift's Folklore track, "The Last Great American Dynasty."

"We raised over 144,000 dollars for the Harris-Walz Campaign, and generated a significant voter registration wave encouraging 41,000 people to check their registration & 27,000 to send registration referrals to their friends and family!"

"Swifties can play a huge role in this campaign because no one organizes like Swifties," Senator Gillibrand said during the call, which is available to stream on the organization's website. The mission of the call was to spotlight how Swifties can work toward getting out the vote on November 5.

In addition to Senators Warren and Gillibrand, the Swifties for Kamala — which is not endorsed, authorized, or sponsored by, or officially connected with Swift or Harris — call featured U.S. House of Representative for Vermont, District at Large 118th Rep. Becca Balint, U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania's 17th district Rep. Chris Deluzio, Kim McMurray of the Indivisible Project, Current Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party Anderson Clayton, Founder of Fan Out Daley Gruen, and Elyse Hope, a volunteer for Vote from Abroad.

"So make the friendship bracelets, get out to vote, talk to your fellow Swifties about this election, and let's send Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House," Senator Ed Markey said. Clayton added, "My favorite album is Midnights, because it's gonna hit different when we make North Carolina go blue at a presidential level."

The Swifties for Kamala Instagram account, which has over 49,000 followers, posted a "S4K Kickoff By the Numbers" sharing the success of the event, along with quotes and clips from the first call.

Though Swift hasn't shared any endorsement for this election as of yet, back in October 2020, the "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" hitmaker endorsed Joe Biden for president, with Harris as his VP.

"I spoke to @vmagazine about why I'll be voting for Joe Biden for president. So apt that it's come out on the night of the VP debate. Gonna be watching and supporting @KamalaHarris by yelling at the tv a lot. And I also have custom cookies 🍪💪😘 ," she posted, along with an image of her holding a tray of "Biden Harris 2020" cookies.

Swift has also previously criticized former President Donald Trump, like in August 2020 when she posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Trump's calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He's chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans' lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power."

She quickly followed that up with, "Donald Trump's ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early."
