Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said Taylor Swift has drawn up plays for the team to run.

The worldwide pop star's relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has certainly been a talking point since the onset of the romance. The "Karma" singer has sold out arenas around the globe, but now, she's ready to make an impact on the field.
"She's really interested in football, and she asks a lot of great questions. Started drawing up plays," Mahomes said in an interview with NBC Sports on Thursday. "We might have to put one in."
Mahomes is in a class of his own, but the three-time MVP,credited Swift for staying grounded despite her fame.
"And then meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is," Mahomes said. "I think that's been special to me because she's, like you said, the most famous person in the world — she could not be."
Swift attended 13 Kansas City games last season, despite being a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan. The Swift and Kelce romance brought an entirely new fanbase to the NFL.
Kelce's jersey sales saw an approximate 400 percent spike throughout the Fanatics network of sites after Swift attended a Chiefs game.
"I think it's been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football," Mahomes said.
"I know being a girl dad, how cool it is for me to see like these little girls — these daughters — and how much they're loving to spend time with their dad, watching football."
This wouldn't be the first time the celebrity couple collaborates. Kelce made a surprise appearance at one of Swift's Eras Tour shows during The Tortured Poets Department set. Alongside backup dancers, Kelce wore a Victorian-inspired tuxedo costume and carried Swift in his arms for his cameo.
Kelce's onstage appearance was in front of 90,000 fans in London at Wembley Stadium.
Now, the Chiefs may be ready to feature Swift's plays in one of their games. Kansas City kicks off the season against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5. The Thursday Night Football showdown is slated to be one of the best matchups of the season.
One thing is for certain, Kansas City fans and Swifties will be monitoring the pop sensation at every game to see if they can catch her signaling plays to head coach Andy Reid.
