Call her the Easter Bunny, because Taylor Swift is the undeniable queen of Easter eggs.

There's no doubt that the superstar's arrival at the Kansas City Chiefs' season opener on Thursday, September 5, nearly broke the internet. From her unwavering support of boyfriend Travis Kelce to her much-revered fit, the 14-time Grammy winner's attendance was nearly more important — and more discussed — than the Chiefs' 27-20 defeat over the Baltimore Ravens.

Some of those discussions, of course, were about Swift's ensemble, which was made up of a matching denim set — and, most notably — a pair of thigh-high cherry red boots. While some fans were obsessed with the footwear solely because the boots were the focal point of Swift's outfit, others quickly seemed to put 2+2 together: Were the oxblood boots really an Easter egg?

Dozens of Swifties took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to draw comparisons to the singer-songwriter's boots at the Chiefs game to the ones she wore in her "Look What You Made Me Do" music video. (The track was the first single off of her 2017 album, Reputation, which the fandom has long theorized will be her next re-release.)

"here we go again," one fan wrote, along with a side-by-side shot of Swift at the game and Swift in the video. The boots are nearly identical; the one in the music video appeared more shiny.

Fans instantly went in on the theory.

"Normal person: those boots Taylor was wearing are so hot.

Swifties: are those the same one from the LWYMMD music video !? Easter egg!? Rep Tv !?" a person posted.

"Those boots with that top is teasing us clowns for Rep TV announcement at the VMAs," someone theorized.

"I don't believe every single item of clothing taylor wears is an easter egg, let's be realistic. but when there's repeated patterns like this, i feel like it's acceptable to take a closer look at things just in case, even if it's just for fun and nothing happens!!" another fan tweeted.

Still, others essentially told their fellow Swifties to hold their horses.

"not everything is an Easter egg and she might just like the boots," one fan pointed out.

"I fear some of yall are being dramatic. Is this necessarily an easter egg? Who knows, probably not," another user added. "But be fr she's TAYLOR SWIFT n she absolutely knew everyone would freak seeing her in those boots lol trust she's knows. She's not stupid."
