In an episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan spoke to guest comedian Tom Segura about Vice President Kamala Harris' performance in the presidential debate on September 10 against former President Donald Trump.

Although the controversial podcaster didn't feel the debate helped answer the question of "Who's gonna have better policies? Who's gonna be better for the country?" he said it was obvious that Harris, 59, "was way better prepared."

Rogan credited Harris' prep team for her stellar performance. "Whoever is helping her, whoever's coaching her," he said, was doing an "amazing job."

Rogan fans and detractors were activated after the video was posted to X (formerly known as Twitter).

"When you find out that Joe Rogan isn't one of the social media influencers being paid off by Russia to support Trump. Amazing!" said one commenter.

Another posted, "Rogan is right, Harris looked better prepared. She planned bait she knew Trump would go after whenever the topic would be something he could nail her on and he fell for it every time. He had a couple good moments but this could have been him wrapping things up and instead turned into giving Harris an opportunity."

Although Rogan has not endorsed Harris, some people online compared this statement to Taylor Swift's recent endorsement of the vice president and wondered if Rogan would be next to incur 78-year-old Trump's anger. (The former president recently posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" on his Truth Social platform as a response to her endorsement of his opponent.)

"First #TaylorSwift, now #JoeRogan. What's the over/under on how long until the "I HATE JOE ROGAN" Trump post?"

Some Harris detractors used the opportunity to repeat unsubstantiated claims that ABC News gave Harris access to the questions prior to the debate.

"It's almost as if she knew the questions before they were even asked..." wrote one commenter.

Regardless of their own political opinions, some of Rogan's listeners pointed out that Harris' performance might impact her electability.

"Job interviews are like that too they pick the person who is prepared and looks good."
