Simone Biles is speaking out in support of her fellow Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles.

A video taken from Biles' Netflix docuseries Simone Biles: Rising was submitted by Team USA gymnastics to the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland on Monday, September 16, in an effort to reinstate Chiles' bronze medal — of which, she was stripped in a controversial ruling during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

In the video, Team USA coach Cecile Landi is evidently seen submitting an inquiry for Chiles within the one-minute time frame in which the inquiries for score adjustments must be made. But viewers also see Landi make a separate inquiry on behalf of Biles, which has apparently not been heard of until now.

During the floor final, Biles had posted a 14.133, with a 6.9 for difficulty. Had the score been corrected, she would have received full credit for a split leap, placing her ahead of the winner, Brazil's Rebeca Andrade, for a score of 14.233. Andrade finished the event with a 14.166, earning her gold.

After the video surfaced online, Biles took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, September 17 that she's not sweating this whole ordeal.

"honestly not a big deal for me, Rebeca had a better floor anyways," Biles wrote. "upsetting how it wasn't processed but I'm not mad at the results."

Biles did, however, share that she is rooting for Chiles, in hopes that she gets her medal reinstated.

She continued, advocating for Chiles, saying, "BUT JUSTICE FOR JORDAN," with four shouting emojis. "ya hear me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Biles isn't the only one on Chiles' side. During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, as Chiles was presenting an award alongside Flavor Flav, the rap veteran gifted her a bronze clock, and revealed he had the prize money ready for her as well.

While Biles' medal is still pending, she's already winning with the support of friends in high places.
