Singer Macy Gray recently revealed her ongoing struggle with stomach pains and signs of constipation since she began using Ozempic for weight loss. The 56-year-old singer shared her discomfort with her Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets castmates Kim Zolciak and Johnny Weir during the July 23rd episode, stating, "Oh, boy, my stomach hurts. I've just been really constipated...I took Ozempic, and now I can't go to the bathroom, and I was up all night."

Natalie McIntyre, known by many as Macy Gray, explained that she turned to Ozempic due to the fact that she wanted to lose weight quickly before going on tour. She also admitted, "I'm kind of a vain person. I've gained a lot of weight over the past couple of years, and just as everyone started talking about Ozempic, I decided to try it. "

Further commenting on the choice, She shared, "So, I thought, 'OK, I'm not taking it off the right way. Let me see if I can get one of these Ozempic [prescriptions].... I was trying to take it off [the weight] before the show because I didn't want to be super fat on TV, but here we are."

During the current season's premiere of Surreal Life, she harkened back to her past use of both illicit and non-illicit substances for "healing," which included cocaine, shots, edibles, and pizza. Her transparency regarding the use of these vices continued to shine a light on the consistent pressure celebrities face to maintain a "trend worthy" image.
