William Shatner has offered a stern warning to 90210 alum Tori Spelling for not drinking enough water, telling the actress, "you're killing yourself."

During an appearance on her misSPELLING podcast, Star Trek actor Shatner said that he fainted due to the heat while traveling for an interview with a veterans charity in Las Vegas—prompting Spelling to share two occasions she had passed out.

"I was out of it," Shatner, 93, said of his own experience. "I have a vivid recollection of thinking, I can't faint now, I'm on camera."

Spelling, 51, then said she had recently passed out, believing stress to be the cause.

"Because of the divorce and everything," Spelling said. The TV star filed for divorce from Canadian actor Dean McDermott, her husband of 18 years, in March, citing "irreconcilable differences."

The former couple have five children: Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7.

"The dogs woke me up in the morning, I got out of bed because they were barking," Spelling said. "[I] opened the sliding glass door to let them out, and the next thing I remember is my daughter screaming, 'Mom, Mom.'"

Shatner suggested the incident could have been due to low blood sugar or a hangover, which Spelling denied.

"I'd been filming the night before, all day," she said. Instead, Shatner suggested she could have been dehydrated.

"I don't drink water," Spelling told the Star Trek actor.

"Hydration is imperative," Shatner said. "It's critical that you and your audience drink a lot of water, I mean eight-ounce glasses and stuff, it's not enough."

Spelling said she believes she has an "allergy or phobia" to water.

"Why do you think you are afraid of drinking water?" Shatner asked, to which Spelling replied: "My theory is, it's a form of control. Or a form of self-sabotage."

"I understand completely," Shatner said, but he urged the Celebrity Show-Off star to try and drink more water anyway, especially after Spelling shared a second fainting story.

"I fell forward this time and now I have this scar," she said. "Both times, my daughter, my 16-year-old, found me."

"When I went forward, she says I wasn't actually really out, she doesn't think," Spelling continued. "But, like, my chin was split open, and every time I was talking it was, like, moving."

In response to the fainting incident, Shatner said: "Well, you gotta drink more water."

"My dear, you're killing yourself," the Boston Legal actor told her. "Do you want to kill yourself?"

"No," Spelling replied. "I have so much to offer this world."

On Tuesday, Spelling shared her sadness following the death of fellow 90210 alum Shannen Doherty. The Charmed actress passed away on July 13 at the age of 53, after battling breast cancer for a number of years.

The pair met as teenagers while filming the 90210 pilot. On July 15, Spelling shared a tribute to Doherty on Instagram, in which she also hit out at people who criticized her for not posting about her friend sooner.

"F*** them... is what Shan would say if I told her I felt pressure to have to summarize via social media a 36 year relationship and the grief I feel for a fire who's [sic] flame went out too soon," she wrote alongside throwback photos of her and Doherty.

Spelling also dedicated an episode of her podcast to Doherty, called "Miss Rebel."

Explaining the delay between Doherty's death and the episode's release on July 29, Spelling said making the tribute had been difficult for her.

"I talked to a friend who said, 'Do it in your own time... Handle it your way, no one expects anything," Spelling said during the installment.

"I wish that were true. I did watch on social media as I did take a day before I posted, because my thoughts were everywhere and I wanted it to be right."
