Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill recently gave fans a rare look at her brother, Desi Arnaz Jr., through a sweet Instagram post which she shared on Sunday, August 4.

In the post, Lucie, 73, can be seen embracing her brother Desi Jr. with her head resting on his shoulder while they both smiled for the camera – her brother rocking a full beard. "Desi is alive and well, my friends," she captioned the post, noting that her 71-year-old brother prefers to stay "undercover." The post also included various snaps from her trip to Vegas.

Desi Jr., who has largely stayed out of the spotlight, particularly after his wife Amy Arnaz passed away from cancer in 2015, joined Lucie in Las Vegas for a special event. Lucie mentioned in the caption that she was there to support her husband, Larry Luckinbill, at a Star Trek convention where he participated in multiple panels.

Fan's couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance Desi Jr. shares with his late father, Desi Arnaz Sr.. "He looks more like his dad than ever!" one fan observed, while another noted, "OMG- Desi looks like his Dad. Why wouldn't he.. 😍👏👏 Hi Desi and Lucie.❤️"

Some thought he looked even more like his mother, Lucille Ball.

"Desi Jr looks a lot like his mom as he has gotten older," another fan wrote.

Others commented on the Joyride actor's new look, leaving comments like, "Is that Desi behind that big beard? I think I recognize his sweet eyes!," and "I never would have recognized him."

Lucie and Desi Jr. are the children of I Love Lucy stars Ball and Arnaz Sr.. The iconic couple, known for their groundbreaking sitcom, had a tumultuous relationship that led to their divorce in 1960 after 20 years of marriage. Despite their split, Lucie has mentioned in the 2022 documentary Lucy and Desi that her parents maintained an "unconditional love for each other." Arnaz Sr. passed away in 1986 due to lung cancer, while Ball died in 1989 from a ruptured abdominal aorta.
