From harrowing fall to miraculous recovery, Kathie Lee Gifford's latest health update is turning heads. On Tuesday, August 13, the 70-year-old celebrated TV icon visited the Today show to recount an incredible turnaround after a serious injury left her sidelined.

The saga began with a risky tumble at her home last month, leading to a fractured pelvis. Just weeks earlier, Gifford had been battling the aftermath of a hip replacement surgery, making the fall especially untimely. "I just went too fast in stupid shoes and I went tumbling," she shared with her former co-hosts.

Yet, what came next was nothing short of astonishing. Within nearly two weeks of her hospital release, the Daytime Emmy winner noticed her pain had vanished. "I was out in my little farm here, I was walking all around on a walker," she said before explaining her pelvis was cracked in the front and the back. "But I realized that I wasn't in any pain.... I was in no pain at all. And I was off painkillers, I was off all that stuff!"

Curious and cautiously optimistic, Gifford sought medical advice, leading to a new scan that would reveal the unexpected. "He comes in with my X-ray and he goes, 'Look at this, Kathie. Do you want to see your X-ray?'" she recalled. The results were clear: "You're completely healed. You are cured," her doctor declared. "It is a miracle. Now you can have one glass of wine if you'd like," he joked.

This remarkable healing prompted the former NBC star to reflect on the power of community and faith. "You have to give credit and glory; credit to all the prayers," she insisted. Moved by the outpouring of support from her fans, Gifford emphasized, "If people are out there, looking for hope, waiting for their miracles, keep waiting, guys. God hears your prayers and he knows what you're going through and I'm just, deeply grateful and I'm still praying for all the friends and the loved ones in my life who have not received their healing yet."
