Robyn Lively is showing sisterly support for Blake Lively amid the tension between the actress and her It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni.

On Sunday, August 25, Robyn responded to a fan comment on a group of photos she posted celebrating Blake's 37th birthday. "Blake is a lovely human being! I hope she knows that the multitudes of people who love her is so much greater than the negative voices," the fan wrote on the Instagram post. Robyn responded warmly, saying, "Thank you for this."

Robyn, 52, captioned the gallery, "That's my bday queen right there! I love this girl, my sister, my best friend, my little piggy back buddy! You are one of the best humans I know. HAPPY birthday sissy britches! 💞🥳" The post featured photos of the sisters together over the years, including one sweet throwback photo of them as children at the end.

Fans flooded the comments section, seemingly coming to Blake's defense. "Blake is a lovely human being!! I hope she knows that the multitudes of people who love her is so much greater than the negative voices ❤️," said one user, while another agreed, saying, "Finally a post about Blake I can get behind!"

Not everyone agreed with the Blake praise, with one user commenting, "She's the original mean girl." Another noted, "Sorry but she dropped the ball with promoting such an amazing and eye opening movie about DV," referencing the seemingly frivolous way Blake promoted the film, while her co-stars seemed to raise awareness about the serious matter.

Blake's birthday celebration included guests like husband Ryan Reynolds, bestie Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Gigi Hadid, along with others at Swift's Rhode Island home. Besides the festivities, the mom-of-four has largely kept a low profile as speculation about alleged behind-the-scenes friction during the making of It Ends With Us continues to grow, along with ghosts from the Gossip Girl alum's past, including more than one interview that spins her in a negative light.
