You can't hide any sort of Easter eggs from Taylor Swift fans. But it doesn't take a genius to crack the code of Travis Kelce's new horse.
Per a statement from Blood Horse issued Tuesday, August 27, Kelce, 34, "acquired a significant share" in a 3-year-old roan-colored gelding horse named Swift Delivery, who is owned by horseracing collective Team Valor. Kelce shares interest with the Zoldan Family, owners of Phantom Fireworks.
Swift Delivery is the son of racehorses Not This Time and Raegen Harper, and coincidentially, Not This Time is part of Taylor Made Stallions, a collective of horses from the Taylor Made Farm located in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
Of course, fans instantly took note of Swift Delivery's name, as Kelce seemingly had to get a horse with the same name as his pop star girlfriend, Swift, 34. As expected, Swifties are having a field day on social media.
"travis bought tay a horse?," said one fan on X (formerly Twitter), "a true 1989 stan."
In the pictures is a screencap of Swift riding on a white horse in the video from her 2014 hit single "Blank Space." Kelce has previously mentioned that 1989 is his favorite of Swift's albums, so this festive new purchase tracks.
Another fan shared a gif of a horse running, symbolizing how quickly they believe Kelce made the purchase.
Over the course of her critically acclaimed Eras Tour, Swift has often displayed little symbols of love for Kelce, through her fashions and lyrics, like wearing hers and Kelce's initials on earrings, as well as rocking the Kansas City Chiefs colors on stage. Some interpret the horse as him returning the sentiments ten-fold.
"okay now travis got a horse named after taylor? that man is crazy about her," said one fan.
But all jokes aside, fans can't help but swoon over the sweet gesture.
Swift and Kelce have been apart for much of the summer, as Swift has been overseas for the Eras Tour and Kelce has been training for the upcoming NFL season. But the couple recently enjoyed a cozy reunion in Swift's beach house in Rhode Island, among friends and family.
Contrary to Swift's 2008 hit single, "White Horse," it looks like it's not too late for Kelce and his Roan horse.
