1,000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton has been released after facing serious charges involving drugs and child endangerment –– and her sister Tammy Slaton seemingly came to her rescue.

Amy, 36, and her partner Brian Scott Lovvorn were arrested at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo on Tuesday, September 3. Officials were initially called to assess a camel bite on the reality star which then blossomed into multiple drug possession charges, child endangerment charges, as well as the reality star being taken out of the establishment on a stretcher.

Amy's children, Gage, 4, and Glenn, 2, were reportedly picked up by her sister Tammy, 38, after the arrest, according to a law enforcement source who spoke with People on Wednesday, September 4. They could not confirm whether or not the children were picked up from the zoo or the police station.

Following their release on a $10,000 bond, the couple was seen leaving the station with Amy's brother, Chris Combs, who was driving them away. Amy and Lovvorn were observed holding hands as they departed, according to the outlet's source.

Amy's arm injury was initially treated with a shirt as a makeshift tourniquet before EMTs arrived. However, zoo owner Jon Conley and park officials have cast doubt on her account, suggesting to TMZ that the injury does not match a camel bite and pointing out that there are no recorded incidents of camels biting visitors. Additionally, he mentioned how there was no surveillance footage of the injury occurring.

Following her arrest, People reported that Amy's children were placed in the custody of a family member, with the Tennessee Department of Child Services now reviewing their situation. However, it is not clear if that family member is Tammy.

Amy shares her two children with her ex-husband, Michael Halterman. Halterman filed for divorce earlier this year after four years together.
