Spooky season is brewing, and so is Heidi Klum's next spooktacular costume.

The 51-year-old queen of Halloween took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 4 to tease what might just be her most mind-boggling look yet β€” a light green, pointy ensemble that hints at something reptilian. "#HeidiHalloween is starting to take shape... πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»," she captioned the clip.

While the exact nature of the costume remains shrouded in mystery, Klum's history of costume reveals β€” ranging from a sultry Jessica Rabbit to a giant wriggly, worm β€” suggests that whatever she is crafting will be nothing short of theatrical. "I always try to find things that people naturally wouldn't do," the supermodel told People in 2023, adding, "Most people do nurses or police officers, but I was always looking for something that I hadn't seen."

Last year, Klum transformed into a cobalt blue peacock, complete with a team of ten portraying the majestic bird's feathers. "I wanted to do a costume with many, many people. I wanted to have a bunch of people and we all become one thing. And for me, in my mind, that one thing was the peacock," she explained during the red carpet at her party.

Klum's Halloween magic isn't just a solo act. This year, she's teaming up once again with special effects and makeup maestro Mike Marino, whose wizardry has transformed the proud mom of four into a number of her iconic looks, including "The Invisible Woman" in 2011, a grotesque fembot alien in 2019, and Fiona from Shrek in 2018. Boasting two Oscar nods for his stunning effects in The Batman and Coming 2 America, there's no denying that Marino's expertise will bring an extra layer of shock and awe to whatever fantastical vision Klum has cooked up for this year's celebration.

On Monday, August 26, the American's Got Talent judge dropped her first sneak peek for Halloween this year β€” a close-up shot of a giant, meticulously crafted eyeball. Accompanying the eerie eye was the caption, "I see a clue of what's to come on October 31 ... can you? πŸ‘€πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ•·οΈπŸ•ΈοΈ #HeidiHalloween."
