U.S. presidential candidate and Republican contender Donald Trump is packing another punch toward Taylor Swift — despite claiming to be unfazed by the pop star's endorsement of Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 11.

As the election is a little less than two months away, Trump wants to keep his supporters' motivation going — this time, in the form of merch modeled after that of the 34-year-old music legend.

A new shirt, shared by the Trump team's official account, bears a lot of resemblance to the aesthetic of Swift's T-shirts and posters. Front and center on the shirt is Trump in black and white, and in the background is a colorful grid of photos of Trump in the "era" of his political career.

As Swifties are not ones to miss a beat, they immediately caught wind of the merch. And if Swift acts quickly, Trump may not be able to sell these shirts anymore.

"Hey, @taylorswift13 Have y'all seen this yet? @realDonaldTrump is COPYING your "Eras Tour" T-Shirt in his likeness! Can you BELIEVE it! There ought to be a LAW against this! "CEASE and DESIST", I think?," said one Swiftie, who closed out the post with pro-Harris hashtags.

Another fan tagged Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, and called for her to "do your thing, girl."

Though Swift, at the time of writing, has not directly commented on the matter, the general consensus appears to be that this will not end well for Trump.

"I see another lawsuit coming in the near future...," said one fan, with another adding, "She can afford better lawyers than he can."

When Swift endorsed Harris on Instagram on Tuesday, September 10, she "cited the dangers of spreading misinformation" as her reasoning for speaking out.

"Recently I was made aware that AI of 'me' falsely endorsing Donald Trump's presidential run was posted to his site," said Swift in the post's caption. "...It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth."

Following the endorsement, Trump called into Fox & Friends on Wednesday, September 11, saying "it was only a matter of time" before Swift endorsed Trump, and expressed that he like Brittany Mahomes better.

"Wife of the great quarterback, [Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs]. I think she's terrific," Trump said of Brittany.

Later that day, Swift won big at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, earning several awards, including Video of the Year for her Post Malone collab, "Fortnight."

The show ended with her bringing her career total up to 30 VMAs wins, making her the most VMAs-awarded solo artist of all time.
