Bunnie XO revealed how she maintains her comfort during that time of the month.
In an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast that dropped Friday, September 12, Bunnie, 44, shared that she wears diapers during her menstrual cycle. This revelation came after the episode's guest, hair stylist Meme Shahan, explained the struggles of traveling with musicians on their tour buses.
Specifically, Shahan lamented the difficulty of having to use a tiny bathroom while on one's period. Shahan said the "close quarters" can make it difficult to apply and remove menstrual products, adding, "It's bad."
Bunnie replied, explaining how she's combatted this issue. "Not me. I just wear a diaper," Bunnie said.
She continued, explaining that these are special diapers designed for people who experience menstrual cycles. "I've preached these diapers, and they're black. Like, they look like briefs," Bunnie said, and noted that they are a lot more liberating to wear than tampons or pads.
"You are gonna feel so free," said Bunnie, who then revealed to Shahan she uses far less diapers than other products.
Shahan is accompanying Bunnie and her husband of eight years, country singer Jelly Roll on the latter's Beautifully Broken Tour, which kicked off last month, and is set to run through April 2025. As a result of spending time together, Bunnie joked that her and Shahan's cycles are likely to sync up.
"I feel like [our periods] were linked for a while there. Right?" Bunnie said. "Mine is pretty powerful. Mine will not change for anybody."
