Nick Cannon wants ex Mariah Carey to know "I Still Believe."

Though their divorce was finalized back in 2016, the father-of-12 still wants to get back together with his ex-wife, with whom he shares teen twins Monroe and Moroccan. "We belong together," Cannon told E! News, seemingly referencing his ex's 2005 single from The Emancipation of Mimi.

When the publication asked if he would get back together with Carey, he was quick to respond, "Yes, absolutely. Be stupid if I wouldn't." Carey did split with boyfriend Brian Tanaka in December, but that wasn't what's been holding them back from getting together.

"She don't want me," Cannon said candidly. His We Playin' Spades cohost Courtney Bee jumped in, commenting, "Yeah, you done left and had like 10 kids." Cannon took the comment in stride, joking, "A whole baseball team," before adding, "Like, 'No, you can't come back home.'"

Since their split, the Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'n Out host has welcomed 10 children with five other women. In addition to 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, Cannon is the father of Golden Sagon, 7, Powerful Queen, 3, and Rise Messiah, 1, whom he shares with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion, 3, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 1, whom he shares with DJ Abby De La Rosa; daughter Legendary Love, 2, whom he shares with Bre Tiesi; daughter Onyx Ice, 1, whom he shares with model LaNisha Cole; and daughter Halo Marie, 1, with Alyssa Scott, with whom Cannon shared son Zen, who passed away in December 2021 from brain cancer.

Cannon's ongoing love for Carey makes it even more difficult for him to process that their children are getting older, and co-parenting with his ex will soon come to an end. "We gonna be done soon. We got teenagers now. I'm about to shed a tear. It's happening too fast," Cannon told E! News.

Cannon and Carey met in 2005 at the Teen Choice Awards when he presented her with the award for choice music R&B artist. They officially began dating in 2008, and Cannon quickly proposed to the "Obsessed" singer twice. They first got married in the Bahamas in April 2008, just about six weeks after they had gotten together.

The couple would go on to renew their vows every year on their anniversary, and spent their 5-year anniversary celebrating with a Cinderella-inspired ceremony for which they rented out Disneyland for the evening. They welcomed their twins on April 30, 2011.
